I wish the affects were more apparent
I prepared the tea exactly as indicated, using both bags at the same time. After brewing and letting the tea steep, I had my first 4 oz drink. It was clean and refreshing, but mostly just like drinking green tea. I was expecting to taste some Ginger, Papaya or Chamomile, but I didn’t and those are usually fairly prominent flavors.I didn’t notice any digestive tract cleansing, but I’m usually regular with with that. I did notice that drinking 4-8oz of the tea liquid a couple times a day had me in the restroom for other reasons, which is ok too. At least the tea got me to drink extra fluids during the day.The tea bags were supposed to be left in the jar the whole time of consumption, and after about 4 days, one of the tea bags broke open spilling the contents in the jar. I started to strain the tea before drinking, but that was a bit inconvenient, so then I just tried to be careful when pouring so I didn’t get any of the loose stuff in my glass. After another day, the tea water started to get kind of slimy, so I discarded the remaining tea liquid.Overall, the tea was clean tasting and refreshing, and encouraged me to drink more liquid during the day. Because I’m usually regular with my bowels, I didn’t notice any change or increase in bathroom visits for that, but mainly because I had more fluids during the day I did have an increase in visits for that.

Surprisingly, there are only two bags of tea in the order that are enough for a one-week purge. The suggested method for making tea makes one gallon of tea, using both bags of tea. First, steep both tea bags in a quart of boiled water for at least four hours to overnight. Next, add enough cool/cold water to make one gallon of tea and continue to keep both tea bags in tea. Refrigerate the gallon mixture. At this point, the tea is ready to be consumed. The suggested amount to drink is about four to eight ounces, two or three times each day for a week. If you want to drink it warm or hot, boil it. Do not use the microwave or the benefits of the tea are touted to be lost.I tried the tea, without any additives, before it had fully steeped and was still hot. It was smooth and easy going down with an unusual and indefinable soft quality. Marsh Mallow Leaf is a strong taste and it blends nicely with the Chamomile. I couldnât taste Papaya or Ginger. On the downside, I drank it on an empty stomach and I felt a bit of a pang in my gut that lasted just a few minutes. I figured this was a foreshadowing of how well the tea will help in purging the body.After the gallon of tea was ready to drink, I tried the first four ounces clear. I could no longer taste Marsh Mallow or Chamomile, but the flavor of the Thistles were front and center, making the tea a tad bitter. I still could not distinguish Papaya and only a very slight hint of Ginger. I was unable to make the tea palatable by adding lemon. However, sweetener did make a marked improvement and changed the flavor so that it was like drinking sweeten black tea.After three days of taking only four ounces of tea, once a day, I decided I needed to take a break. It was working too well in clearing out my system. This is certainly a quick way to help lose weight. Although, it is not something that should be taken for any longer than a week because, in my opinion, it could cause health issues. I recommend it as an occasional purge. It is probably best to seek the advice of your health care provider before using this tea.Ingredients: Persimmon Leaf, Holy Thistle, Malva Leaf, Marsh Mallow Leaf, Blessed Thistle, Papaya, Ginger, Chamomile, Myrrh in unbleached tea bags.There is a small error in the information. There are not 30 servings. There are 32, four ounce servings.

I didn’t really notice a difference
For starters, the tea takes like 8 to 10 hours to make. But then you’ve got to drink it like three times a day. It’s definitely not a quick process. I didn’t really notice any benefit. At least it tasted like tea. I did not get any kind of a laxative effect at all like I thought I was going to.

It works!
I followed the directions. The flavor isn’t bad. Not my favorite but it was fine for short term use. This pack is only for a week so it was fine. It does what it says it does! I decided to use it during a week when I didn’t have much going on and could easily access the bathroom if necessary. And I was glad I did because it cleaned me out!

Too much work to prepare
I used one bag to make a half of the recipe because there’s no way a tea with no preservatives will sit in the fridge for a week and not go bad. I found it to be too much trouble to prepare the tea.. and then the next day after it brewed overnight, the flavor was very very mild, mostly chamomile. I would really expect some flavor, but other people may like it, it’s almost like drinking water.I wasn’t deliberate about drinking it and 4 days later I still have some left in the fridge and it started developing a smell of it going bad.

If you want the nutritional benefits from this along with a stronger tea flavor, just brew a regular teabag along with it. It would be very easy to drink 3 or 4 8-oz portions a day as recommended.
