Anthony’s is a trusted brand in my household. This brand is always a great value for a great product. When deciding to start taking collagen, I started to search for different brands, and Anthony’s popped up in my search. Recognizing the brand and knowing I’ve always been pleased with the quality of the products used from Anthony’s, I decided this was the brand I’d choose to start my collagen journey. My instinct was correct as this product was a clear winner. It comes in a resealable bag. I dissolves completely in my coffee with just a couple stirs. There is no settling at the bottom of the cup or residual product at the top. Once dissolved, there is no detectable trace of the powder. There is no texture, smell, or taste. If I did not know I had put the collagen in the cup, I honestly would have no idea it was there. It was a bit of a mental challenge the first few times to think of putting “fish” into my coffee, but I got over that very quickly as I honestly could not detect it at all. And I was really trying hard to detect it. I am about halfway through the bag at this point, and have decided to put this on automatic shipment. I am quite pleased with the product and will continue using it.

Nice protein supplement
I like to drink black coffee in the morning but often skip breakfast. I also try to minimize simple carbs in my diet.I started thinking about ways to get a little protein in the mornings to help avoid sarcopenia.I decided to try a few different protein, peptide and amino acid supplements with my coffee as an experiment.This product has been among the best as far as how it dissolves and tastes in the coffee. I am adding two heaping teaspoons to about 24 ounces of hot coffee.It has a negligible affect on taste. There is no smell. It readily dissolves in coffee. It hadn’t caused stomach issues. No sugar.Notably, because this is a collagen based product, it is missing at least one essential amino acid – tryptophan. So it isn’t a “complete” product. If you are getting tryptophan elsewhere in the diet no big deal. I have been adding a small amount of an essential amino acid powder in addition to this product so that my coffee has a complete set of amino acid.Happy so far.

somewhat unflavored
This is mostly unflavored. I mix it in water and don’t detect any significant flavor. There is, however, an “aquarium” like smell that I notice when I walk back in my office after leaving for a few minutes. And when I pop the lid off my drinking cup at the end of the day, there is a definite fish odor.UPDATE: I switched to stirring it into a smoothie and there is no taste or smell. There is definitely an improvement in my skin and joints so I will continue using.

Great value for the price
I switched to this brand for my marine collagen after my previous brand’s price skyrocketed. This is such a good value for the price! It’s a very fine grain, so it dissolves easily, but it can be messy to scoop and pour, just fyi. I mix it straight into water, and although it’s technically flavorless, it does have that typical collagen-y flavor, like unflavored gelatin. It’s not bad, and I don’t feel the need to mix it with anything flavored. Anecdotally, it seems to be doing its job: my skin, hair and nails look as great as they did with the more expensive collagen. I don’t have joint issues, so I can’t comment on its efficacy for joint pain.

I use this for hair-loss – to improve my hair quality, growth and health. I add a scoop to my green smoothie every day. No taste at all. Love it and can see an improvement in my hair quality. Would def recommend.

This is the only marine collagen powder I’ve had that actually has no fishy taste (and I have bought from fancy, expensive brands) This is the best. Please never stop selling it
