Love amika

I have African American 3B hair. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner and am really pleased. My hair was falling out and thinning for about 5 months most likely due to stress but also too much product in my hair. I feel like my hair needed a detox to help it bounce back a bit and this really helped. I love the smell of the wash and conditioner. I noticed about a 35-40% decrease in the amount of my hair that came out during the cleansing and conditioning steps in the first treatment. My hair felt so fresh and clean after I blew out my hair. I am positive that with continued use this will help get my hair back to the way I am used to.I’m a new satisfied customer.

works well enough, but the Amika scent is off-putting to me
I purchased this for the panthenol ingredient and it works pretty well, although it leaves my hair very soft and smooth (I have fine hair that’s already soft) and I need to use some sort of hairspray on it afterwards to give my hair more “starch”. I find the Amika signature scent off-putting to the extent that I had to re-wash my hair after my hairdresser used a different Amika product on it, but the scent in this product is fairly faint so I can tolerate it. I realize that some people love the scent, so I might be in the minority.
