This Stuff is Great!
I cannot believe this mascara, especially at this price. It looked great, didn’t clump, and lasted all day. But I don’t touch my eyes much during the day, so not sure if that makes a difference. And the color is awesome!!! It’s actually BROWN, not black pretending to be brown. It wiped off easily with a Water WipeWhen I first looked at the brush, I thought, ‘This is definitely going to involve some cursing.’ Much to my surprise, it lays out a nice lash from root to tip. Then if you hold it vertically/upright and brush the tip up through your lashes, it lengthens the look of the lashes even further (that’s usually true with most brush styles, so it was just a general makeup tip).The formula is on the drier side, but easy to work with. I don’t like wet mascara anyway…for me, drier formulas clump way less. And this mascara didn’t end up on everything eyelash adjacent, too, which is a bonus for those of us who are sometimes dexterity challenged.Anyway, suuuuuper happy about this mascara. And I haven’t been very happy with the last 20ish mascaras I’ve tried [Maybeline Falsies Lash Lift is very nice if you are in the market for a black mascara. Unfortunately it was much too dark for my ultra fair, red-head complexion.]

Essence does not dissapoint
I have been a fan of Essence mascaras (and blushes) for the longest time. This is a very affordable brand that offers excelent quality makeup and their mascaras are amazing. This one in particular is phenomenal. It does everything it claims it does. I love how it separates and elongates the lashes. I don’t wear fake lashes, they bother me, so mascaras that make my natural ones look long and full are a must for me. I am always buying and trying new mascaras and there are so many out there super expensive that do not have the quality of this one. I will buy the brown one as well. I am totally in love with it.

LOVE the color!! Butâ¦
I was on the look for a true brown mascara (not black brown like most of the ones I see on the market)âAnd this definitely has the color I was looking for! Love how itâs long lasting and non-flaky as well. The reason I deducted a star is because it is a bit too dry for my preference, along with the wand feeling a bit wiggly (I fear it may breakâ¦). Despite the minor issues, I really have enjoyed this mascara!

The actual BEST mascara
Iâve been using this mascara for about a month now and not only did I have to come write a review but Iâm willing to post a creepy close up of my eye on the internet because this mascara is literally the best ever.Iâll start by saying Iâve struggled with lashes all my life. I feel like my lashes need the umph of mascara but I have very flat, spaced-out lashes so mascara often just winds up accentuating the things I dislike about my lashes in the first place. I spent years getting lash extensions because of this, and was left with even flatter, thinner lashes as a result.Iâve tried to figure out what it is that makes this mascara so different from any mascara Iâve ever used and I think itâs a few things:1. The price point!!! For $5? Give it a try. Iâd pay top dollar for this.2. The color is fab. Iâve always been more of a brown eye make up girl and itâs tough to find a good brown mascara. This one looks very natural but isnât too light. I have to imagine the black would be just as great if thatâs the color you prefer.3. The âpliabilityâ? This mascara holds shape without looking clunky. If you have flat lashes or lashes that grow in a weird direction, you can literally mold them into place with this brush and they will stay put all day. Itâs mind boggling.4. The fluffiness. This is the ONLY mascara Iâve ever used that gives my lashes the same volume effect as lash extensions without looking like spider legs. It fills in gaps, lengthens, and darkens WITHOUT looking heavy and clumpy. Iâve never been able to wear mascara without other eye makeup to balance it and this has been a game changer.5. The wearability. Everyone hates mascaras that flake, smear, etc. None of the above happen with this formula. Not only that, but if you get a little on your skin while applying, it comes right off – and itâs super easy to wash off at the end of the day.I donât know what they put in this to make it so perfect but BUY IT NOW. I can confidently say Iâll never use another mascara again!

Great Except It Smudges
I feel like I get panda eyes (or raccoon eyes, whatever you want to call it) about 50 percent of the time when I use this mascara. So it’s definitely not long-wearing or long-lasting. …Maybe I’m somehow just more prone to that happening (oily skin?) or maybe it’s the Florida humidity (I’m certain it surely doesn’t help), but who knows. Also the wand is crazy flimsy (like, why?)- it’s next to useless. So I feel like I’m always having to go in with a spoolie or some other kind of tool to help me out when I’m trying to apply it. With allll that being said I do actually like the mascara itself. The color is lovely and it has a decent consistency/formula that I can work with. It looks pretty when I put it on. I love brown mascara because I like the natural ‘my lashes but better’ look (I swear black makes me look like an actual camel LOL) and it’s sooo hard to find a nice, true brown out there. However the downside is that I go and look in the mirror after I’ve been wearing it all day and surprise(!) it’s completely smudged itself and panda-eyed me. And I look stupid, not to mention. It doesn’t do it every time, so maybe more for like “light wear” such as if you’re sitting all day in a climate controlled environment then maybe there’s no reason to worry. But unfortunately far from a winner though imo.

Color natural si no quieres ir muy cargada de dÃa. Alarga las pestañas y no las carga. No deja grumos pero si buscas volúmen y espesor, no es la indicada. Yo la utilizo como maquillaje para ir al trabajo y lo combino con un eye liner. El acabado es natural y el ojo está maquillado.

Sinceramente non avevo alte aspettative su questo prodotto ma sono rimasta sorpresa. Allunga le ciglia e il colore marrone e davvero carino, fa un effetto molto bello
