Since I started using various e.l.f. products to cut costs, I decided to try the Daily Cleanser to see how it stacks up to my current cleanser that is almost empty. My skin has a tendency to go from dry to oily seemingly overnight (most likely due to weather changes & humidity) and sometimes referred to as âcombinationâ skin. I am not a heavy makeup user so thereâs no eye shadow, liner or mascara to remove on a daily basis (just foundation, brows/cheeks/lips makeup plus any pollution accumulation). None of my makeup is designated as âwaterproofâ so the difficulty level to remove makeup is not high. The cleanser itself has a very slight neutral scent and lightweight gel to foam texture that is not too thick or too runny. I squeezed about a nickel size amount to have my face fully lathered up and foamy. Using only my hands, there was no need for sponges or cloths to scrub or remove makeup and dirt. The foam & ingredients are not abrasive so it is safe and gentle enough to use on sensitive skin without burning, redness, or irritation. My skin doesnât feel oily/greasy afterwards, but it also does not feel tight and dry like all my natural oils have been stripped out as some users have reported. Itâs hard to explain, but it leaves my skin feeling clean yet balanced, just not clean and invigorated as I’m used to (both of which are good). I guess it depends on your type of skin, the condition of your skin when you start off using the product, and what youâre accustomed to.Overall, you canât beat the $6 price tag for a facial cleanser that is gentle on your skin, actually cleans and removes dirt/oil & makeup, and also hydrates. Of course, this is only one step in your skincare process and not the only step in the process. If you have dry skin youâll need to followup up with your daily moisturizer and if you have very oily skin to use an astringent/toner before moving forward. Iâm relatively new to using e.l.f. skincare products, but I am impressed with what theyâve accomplished quality wise while keeping their products at an affordable price point for all of us. 5 Stars!!!P.S. The product is 100% âcruelty freeâ.

A godsend!
I have extremely sensitive skin, and I have a hard time finding brands that work for me. I initially started purchasing Holy Hydration from my local retailer, but they stopped carrying it, and I love it so much that I’ve started ordering it.The scent is light, fresh, and clean. The cleanser, in combination with the moisturizer, leaves my skin feeling softer than anything I’ve ever used before. Plus, it makes me feel good to know e.l.f. is vegan and cruelty-free.Considering its price, and its effectiveness on my sensitive skin, I absolutely recommend Holy Hydration to those who aren’t satisfied with other cleansers.

Moisturizing and a great cleanser!
This product has to be one of my favorite cleansers I have tried so far. I took a leap of faith when buying it because I ran out of the cleanser from elf’s pure skin line and decided to take a shot at this. This removes any makeup that’s left over perfectly. A little also goes a long way, a few drops with some water can clean the whole face. It also helps with the oilness of my face (my t-zone is my biggest problem). It does have a slight fragrance smell so I would be careful of that if you have very sensitive skin.

Drying but . . . Great Makeup Brush Cleaner!
I initially bought this as a face cleanser, but it made my skin feel tight and dry about an hour after using it. Instead of throwing it out, I decided to try it as a makeup brush cleaner and it works wonders.I use a couple of drops mixed with water in my makeup brush cleaner and spin the brushes for about 15 seconds a piece. Then I use water alone in the makeup brush cleaner to rinse the brushes for 15 seconds a piece. I then let the brushes air dry on a towel for a few hours.My makeup brushes have stayed clean with no makeup buildup and are holding up well since using this cleanser. I’ve been using this cleanser daily for about 3 months like this and I still have about 1/3 of the bottle left. I will keep using this cleanser for cleaning my makeup brushes since the price is great too!

Iâve been using this for a couple of months now and one bottle usually last me one or two months at a time and it is easier to order it through here. It is always sold out every single store I go looking for it. It is a smaller bottle, but it cleans very well and hydrates, it removes the oil from my face nicely. I use this every day and night is my most favorite and it is very affordable. It works for my skin type which is oily/more dry.
