Nice mineral shadow and packaging
Nice product. The packaging is exquisite — very upscale and a nice touch. The eye shadow colors are nice, but some don’t show up till you put a bit more on. I don’t think it’s that big a deal. The only thing I was disappointed in is that it didn’t come with an eye shadow brush of some kind. Love the fact that it’s mineral makeup and not harmful for you. I do recommend because the colors are subtle.

Great eyeshadow!
This eyeshadow is very pretty, goes on very nicely, and stays put. I’ve been looking for some purple shades that actually look good on your skin, not just the packaging. These shades are by far the best. The shades are not too dark or too bright and just enough to see on you. They’re not too subtle either. Just right. I have this in my cart, ready to repurchase once I’ve gone through the one I’m currently using. It is now a favorite.

Invisible on Pale, Pasty Skin
I’m SUPER pale—like, you can check the white balance on your tv using my face—and the pigments barely show up on my skin. Doesn’t do much for a daytime look, and definitely does not work for a dramatic look. I like other products in the Bare Minerals brand, but this one isn’t a win for me.

This is my second BM palette. Was disappointed with another one that I had bought, and I’m equally disappointed with this one. Weird consistency, hard to manage once it’s on the eyes. You can’t blend it out! It’s quite chalky and oily at the same time if that makes sense. Won’t be purchasing another shadow from them in the future. Lesson learned.
