Smooth texture but color and smell is a bit off
This contouring stick has a waxy smell but itâs not oily- so the texture is a plus. The color is not at all like the picture- the Mocha colored one is more of a dark red brick color which I thought would be more tan like the picture. The highlighter actually looks ok on my cheeks. I love the blender brush- so to make this mocha look natural on my skin I have to blend it with a different cover stick I use from NYX. Also I put some nice smelling oil on my face to mask the smell lol. So this is a fully honest review- I may buy this again cuz it kinda works but with a little help and I like the highlighter on my cheeks but if I find something else better for the same price I may move – u know? – packaging is cute. I think it would be fabulous on a bit darker skin. I ordered medium light but it was really orangey and dark as you can see 🙂

Blends Well, VERY Subtle Contouring, Almost invisible
I’m waffling between “ok” and “good” on this contouring set in my mind. It is my first real try at “cream contouring,” I’ve tried powders for contouring before, and I find them hard to blend. Always show up a bit dark on my fair skin, even with a light touch. I don’t do contouring often because of that. Highlighter I love, high-end powder typically. I use that daily. This I would say goes on lightly, blends in well, and the end result is very, very, very, VERY SUBTLE. Almost no shadowing, almost no shine. Which makes me think that it isn’t really all that useful, it is almost invisible. However, it is way better and more useful than a contouring product on the other end of the spectrum, one that is too dark or too noticeable!!! So that is good I suppose in a way. On another note, I feel like it might be slightly irritating my sensitive skin, I feel a slight sensation I don’t like. I don’t believe I would order this again, I’m sad to say. I’ll give it a chance though, and I will come back and update this to reflect my feelings should they change, either for the better or for the worse.

Pretty good contouring cream
I am by no means an expert at makeup so I keep my usage pretty basic. I generally use this sort of product to contour my eyelids a bit. It works for that. Ideally, I would like a little thinner a “stick” but I can work around that.
