Heel Protection AND Healing
So, I had some torn up heels that had healed – or so I thought – and decided to walk around in some stiff Dr. Martens. Apparently, my heels looks fine, but the skin was still extremely fragile and within a few blocks of walking a half inch of my heel skin had peeled completed back and it was GHASTLY. Also, quite painful.These go over the damaged skin and are kept on for two days. They are waterproof and I showered with them on. They keep the open wound covered so it can heal faster (and WOW did it heal faster) and also protects it from dirt that might get in it or accidental dings. The material on the bandages has a good spring and cushion to it, so it truly does keep your heels from rubbing against or taking pressure from any shoes you’re wearing. I’d wear these to break in Dr. Martens in the future, even if I don’t have a current wound.They aren’t cheap and I wish they were a little cheaper, but they work so well that I can’t honestly complain. I continued to use these after my heels were “healed” but the skin was still extremely tender, so that I wouldn’t have a repeat of my last mistake.

My husband was hobbling from blisters during our recent trip to DisneyWorld. My sister-in-law had some of these on-hand and they provided incredible relief. We placed a Prime order to have some for the remainder of our trip, and his feet felt much better.

Do opposite off what the dude says. A regular band-aid will hold way better. These heel bandages didnt even stay on while I was just walking around the house, while a regular bandaid survived a four mile run.

Great Blister Bandaid
I’ve always used KT brand blister bandaids, gave this brand a shot and loved them even more. They stay on and shield skin from the upcoming blister perfectly. I used these at Disney where you walk 15-20 miles and day and didn’t have any issues. Highly recommend.
