Stood up to the Caribbean Sun
I purchased Amazonâs Solimo Sport Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 30, for my familyâs recent trip to the Caribbean and I was very happy with the purchase. My family used this sun screen as our only sunscreen for the whole trip and we were outside in the 100 degree temperatures/direct sun for most of the day and non of us got a burn or really even saw any change to our skin. (We did apply multiple times a day and we are of the fair skin tone variety).The scent of the sun screen is not overpowering and just reminds me of summer. It is easy to rub into your skin (white at first and then it goes away) and doesnât leave a super greasy feeling afterward but you can feel it on your skin as your would any lotiona.Since we were going to be swimming near coral reefs and just in the ocean in general I was looking for a reef safe sun protection and was pleasantly surprised to see that this product is free of the chemicals that are harmful to the reefs and surrounding sea creatures.I have already purchased another bottle for my familyâs trip to Florida this spring and I recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality sunscreen at a price that canât be beat.

I am a repeat purchaser of this product. It’s easier than most other brands to apply (i.e. it doesn’t take ten minutes to stop looking like white paint). Seems to work fine, though my skin isn’t particularly sun-sensitive.

Safe for travel to Hawaii
It worked! Tropical Sun. Lots of swimming in the ocean around O’ahu. Safe for reefs. We had 7 people on the trip and no one had any reactions to the sun screen and all were protected by it. I am fair skinned (basically go white to red). My wife is Asian (and of course can still burn, just not as easily as I do). My oldest son’s SO is from Egypt. Our kids vary in sun tolerance depending on their unique blend of our DNA. Everyone used this sun screen liberally and no one got burned where they actually applied it. Our kids that wanted to get some color from the sun, did.Certainly not as convenient as a spray on sun screen. But safe for the environment, easy on your skin and effective protection from the sun’s rays.It is a bit thick and spreads out pretty far. So, start with a little and see how far it spreads on your skin.We will definitely purchase and use again whenever going into the oceans.

Wish the bottles included an expiration date
I really like this sunscreen and would have given it 5 stars but it doesnât include an expiration date on the bottles. That means we have to trust the company that they are shipping out newer products and not ones that have been sitting for a year + and it also makes it hard to know which bottles need to be tossed. As a family who often has multiple sunscreen bottles going at one time, some from the previous summers, knowing when the sunscreen was either manufactured or expires is key information to make sure we are using an effective product. I may reconsider what sunscreen I purchase next summer because of this.
