I had developed some allergic reactions and had to visit an allergist who determined that among other things I was allergic to the fragrances in Pantene conditioner I was using. It was the only conditioner that was effective on my hair. Upon searching for “hypoallergenic” conditioners, I found the only ones available were very, very expensive. I bought this product because it seemed like a good value. To my surprise, it was just as good if not better than the Pantene product I had been using.

Excellent conditioner for dry hair!
I have fine hair thatâs damaged and has been breaking off. The ingredients in this conditioner sold me, all being hair friendly and good for growth (castor oil). I added my own essential oils for a bit of natural fragrance. When hair is wet it doesnât leave that coating layer that other brands do, which make it feel silky when wet but dry with a residue. Once my hair is dry it is softer and smoother than with any other conditioner I have used! Great value and I highly recommend!

Great at being fragrance free but makes my hair feel like straw
This product is great if you are trying to be fragrance free but it makes my hair feel awful. I have more tangles, my hair feels like straw. It is a weird consistency. I rub the shampoo together but it doesnât lather well and hard to put on.

Skip this if mixing with fragrance for family or gifts.
Bought this to mix with my own fragrance and create scented conditioners for my family.The base has a weird smell to it that even when mixed with potent fragrance oil does not go away.This might be okay for people with allergies and health issues to which I cannot speak.But if your buying to mix with fragrance to make your own individual scents for family or friends skip this as the scent from the scent free bottle doesn’t go away.Definitely don’t mix with coconut fragrance oil as It’s combination is wretched.
