Toothpaste tablets were invented in Germany in 2003. Several companies followed suit and launched their versions shortly afterward. In 2014, a UK company sold the first toothpaste tablets in glass bottles with aluminum caps.
In 2017, Weldental launched its original formula, Chewtab toothpaste tablets. Many of the tabs on the market had unnecessary ingredients, harsh chemicals, and unpleasant flavors. Chewtabs contain limited, natural ingredients and resemble the texture of toothpaste as you brush.
We have now launched a toothpaste tablet that is more affordable for families. Chew Brush Smile toothpaste tablets come in 120-count and 60-count aluminum bottles.

Perfect for Travel and Camping
I wanted to give these a try for a few reasons. First, I do a lot of international traveling and wanted something that is not a liquid. Plus I do camping trips so thought they could be handy in the outdoors too. I love this product. Tastes really good and cleans my teeth just as good as a normal toothpaste. Pleasantly surprised and I would buy this again!

So far so good
They work well. We will see what the dentist says when I go. they have a slimy after effect that I notice on the tongue but I use a tongue scraper so it is fine. Lots of foam. Good flavor.

Better than Bite
Larger and softer than Bite, and actually produce a substantial amount of paste that lasts for the entire brushing. Mild mint taste and cleans well. No aftertaste. Sold!

I had been using another brand and decided to try these when they popped up as a suggestion for me. They have a nice mint flavor and foam up a bit more than the previous brand I was using. I will continue to buy.

Buzzfeed review
Chewing Altoids until it foams. That’s what the feeling of using this product feels like. Now I found this through scrolling through Buzzfeed and finding something that was TSA friendly. I really like this after spending a week going camping, it was easier to pop one of the tablets in my mouth, chew it, and then apply my toothbrush until I get all of my teeth. This has a minty flavour and I would say that it lasted for hours and after eating a snack. Does it replace the tube of tooth paste? I wouldn’t say that… but when travelling, I will be using this for sure.

Good product, expensive compared to a tube of toothpaste though
My first time using tablets, and theyâre pretty great! The only downside is that I find that I need to use two of them per brushing to feel like thereâs enough foam thatâs happening and I use an electric toothbrush, and a lot of times it feels like thereâs a slimy kind of residue after Iâm finished brushing. Itâs usually fine if I do a really good rinsing of the brush,after I brush my teeth, but if not, Iâll wake up the next day and itâll be gross on toothbrush handle. That said, really great for travel but it kind of sucks that if Iâm using two tablets per brushing they only last a month. so still on the fence about the value for the money compared to just a tube of toothpaste. But after listening to Andrew Hubermanâs podcast on oral health I wanted to try xylitol toothpaste instead of fluoride based stuff and it feels like my mouth feels clean so Iâll probably keep using it for a while.

I love it!!
It has the best ingredients and nothing bad as far I can tell. These are easy to bite/break and foams pretty well for me as well. I like them a lot and will probably order again once they finish since you can’t beat the price of the stuff which is in it.
