This is my new favorite hand cream! It’s light and non-greasy, yet moisturizes very well. The scent is lovely but subtle. Applying it has become a pleasant part of my bedtime ritual. I buy these for friends and always keep two on hand for myself. One at work and one at home. Subtle delicate fragrance and quick drying. This fabulous cream has a soft greaseless effect on hands and feet. I first tried this when it was on promo and have bought many times since. Love this hand lotion. Itâs not sticky and you donât have to wait forever for it to sink in to the skin before you can get back to work on your keyboard. Plus it has a mild lavender scent, very natural and not overpowering.

Great product, I love that the first ingredient is not water its actually shea butter!! Subtle smell, not overpowering. I put it on before bed and its very calming. The formula is not thick, its light and absorbs quickly. Its a bit expensive but you definitely get what you pay for.

Phenoxyethanol is not a safe ingredient
I was disappointed to learn what all of the ingredients are. This was given to me as a gift and the container deceptively lists the “key ingredients” instead of all of the ingredients. So, I thought I had a really good hand lotion, that didn’t have dangerous chemicals and hormone disrupters.I did some searching and found the full ingredient list because I was wondering why they only listed “Key ingredients” on the tube. That seemed shady to me because all of the other lotions just list the ingredients. This lotion contains Phenoxyethanol. A quick search revealed:”Phenoxyethanol is used as a preservative in cosmetic products and also as a stabilizer in perfumes and soaps. Exposure to phenoxyethanol has been linked to reactions ranging from eczema to severe, life-threatening allergic reactions. Infant oral exposure to phenoxyethanol can acutely affect nervous system function.””Studies in animals have linked phenoxyethanol to endocrine disruption, bladder damage, and pulmonary edema. In mice, it has caused chromosomal changes, genetic mutations, testicular atrophy, and interference with reproduction. “”Where does it come from? In cosmetics, phenoxyethanol is of synthetic origin. Phenoxyethanol can also come from nature and be found in plants such as chicory.”The company should consider replacing phenoxyethanol with probiotic-based preservation systems such as lactobacillus coconut extract and leuconostoc (radish root) ferment filtrate.With all of that being said, the product helps my dry hands and isn’t greasy and absorbs quickly. I was so excited to have a lotion that didn’t have a long list of chemicals in it and this does seem to have less than others.
