GET THIS BOOK…IT IS BEYOND GREAT!!!!!
I am in love with this book!! As someone who just began using essential oils, recently, I made sure to do some research as far as which book would be best and have the most useful information. This one takes the prize, for sure!! It really is a complete and comprehensive book of everything essential oils! It not only informs the reader of the process of extraction, methods of application, many recipes for common ailments, and things of that nature, but it also breaks down each and every oil! The profile for each oil includes: an overview about the plant and most common uses, application methods, blends with, precautions, and medicinal uses! In the glossary, you can search by the oil itself or the ailment, which is very nice! There is so much information in this book, but it is broken down in such a way that makes it very easy for the average person to process and put to use. I have already recommended this book to several different people and have had at least two of those people purchase it already! If you are looking for a book on essential oils that gives you all the information you could possibly need in such a way that is easy to comprehend and use, then this is definitely the book for you!! I definitely recommend this book to anyone just starting out and even to those who already have a good handle on essential oils and their medicinal properties! A+++++++

Perfect reference for Essential oils.
I have been interested in essential oils for a while now, but I never really did any research or reading on them. I even have a couple bottles that were given to me sitting on my dresser, but really I had no idea how to use them, and that I would need a carrier oil for most of them. Essential oils seem to be on trend right now in the U.S. But I never really was sure if they were for more than aromatherapy. This book gives you all the information you need to learn and start using essential oils for your health. I love how the author starts with the simple essentials, explaining what essential oils are, and ways they are used. The author goes on to explain how the oils are collected and why they are so powerful. Essential oils are natural oils in the plants that are removed and purified for use. Many health issues can improve or even heal completely by using essential oils instead of turning to modern chemicals in drugs. The book goes into detail listing the essential oils, what they can provide and how they are used. It also includes how to choose your essential oils and how to choose a carrier oil. With recipes for massage oils, and great ideas for mixing your own shampoo, soap, and massage oils, this book becomes a perfect reference for anyone interested in essential oils. Later in the book there are lists of medical issues and how to treat them with essential oils. I am hoping to try some of these soon. The last thing this book goes into are references. It talks about the most popular and the best places to get your essential oils. I have yet to pick a company I desire to get my first essential oils from, but using this book I have a much greater understanding of what essential oils are, how to use them, and how to store them and mix my own oils for my tastes. Truly this book is just a perfect reference. It teaches the basics, as well as what to watch for when buying oils. It really is the best reference for using essential oils for natural remedies.

Great for Beginner
Truly a great book and price for all the book has to offer. The book is over 400 pages! This is my first physical book of oils and I can tell you that it is going to be a great resource for when I need to look up something that is bothering us and needing addressed.Great guide to help me understand how to use them and the history of them too. The first part of the book has the aliments to look up and gives you recipes and or oils and how to use them for that specific problem. Gives suggestions on recipes and normally has more than one suggestion for the aliment. The second half of the book shows you the oil and then what you can use the specific oil for and what you can also blend them with too!I am in love with this book. I have had it for several weeks and honestly I have used it almost DAILY!! Yes seriously. Again I am a newbie to essential oils so every time one of the kids or hubby and I have an issue I hurry and look it up and see what I can help to clear up our problems.I have used the recipes for soreness/pain, hemorrhoids, asthma, kidneys and man oh man they have WORKED. I love this book and actually am going to buy another for a friend’s Christmas gift.Lots of information and a great tool that any oil user should use and have for the emergency aliment.
