Mostly good, has a bit of an odor though
This lipstick has a nice texture–not the creamiest, but it doesn’t leave my lips feeling more dried out either. The color seems to be pretty accurate to what is shown in the listing photos. I was hoping that with “mica” being in the name of this that it would have a metallic sheen to it, but it doesn’t. There is some sort of smell as well–kind of chemically or plasticky or something. I would have expected it to have some kind of sweet or pleasant smell. It does seem to have a good amount of pigmentation in it though–not like a lip stain, but just a regular lipstick. One other thing–if I just pick it up without looking at it, I can’t tell by feel which is the top & which is the bottom. I wish they felt different so I could be sure I was holding the bottom & opening the top each time.

Tube of Shiny Lipstick (Pastel Pink)
Very nice tube of lipstick. It’s a bit taller than the average height, with a graceful feel to it. I like the shiny gold housing and cap. The color is true, as depicted in the listing photos. I was skeptical that it would go on glossy/shiny or feel moist, but this lipstick does NOT disappoint. It has a slight shimmer, while not being glittery. It was easy to wash off, so I don’t know if it’s designed for “all day wear,” but to me, the other great qualities outweigh that aspect.My one and only concern about this tube of lipstick is that it lacks any type of safety seal. After all, this is a product that a person is applying to the lips and I would think that safety and sanitation should be a top priority. However, I carefully inspected the lipstick itself and it was in pristine condition.The listing price of $13.99 is decent considering the shimmer and overall quality. Comes in a multitude of colors/shades. This product is also vegan and cruelty-free.

Outstanding berry for a light olive, but formula issues
I have a light olive undertone and often do quite well with purples, and this is a great example. On me, this comes out as the most delicious, almost vampy, deep berry. Love this colour!The formula I’m more meh on. It is very much a balm-type texture, which makes it difficult to place and keep in one spot. It wants to move around. I ended up applying it with the stick but then finishing the edges with a brush. It also transfers like a lip balm, so a lot. It does stain my lips some, so I keep some colour when it rubs off on a glass, but the deep gorgeous berry changes to a much less rich colour. And if you have a buff coloured cat and you kiss their head, I can tell you first hand that your cat’s head will retain the evidence for several days! At least he knows he’s loved!So five stars for the colour, three for the formula, averaging out to four. If could get this exact shade in a lasting lip stain that didn’t have the transfer issues, this would be a holy grail for me.

Pretty and moisturizing, but smudges
This is a very pretty lip color, and I love that it’s a hydrating formula, however for something so pigmented it is somewhat surprising that it goes on almost like a lip balm. That sounds nice in theory, but with a red lip you get a lot of smudging and movement with a formula this balmy and so far I haven’t found a way to make it stay put. I’ve somewhat resigned myself to just using it for the center of a gradient lip, so if it does travel a bit it isn’t a big deal, and this probably wouldn’t be as large of a problem with other colors. Just be careful with the bolds.
