Great addition to any regimen
Love the this toothpaste and so does my dentist. My dentist recommended this paste because of its fluoride content and its abrasive ness. It’s much gentler on my teeth than the other brands. The cool mint taste is not overpowering like some others. I use it in tandem with the rinse aid, it was recommended by my dental team. Cavity free for years and I mean years. I use it twice a day and the rinse once , at night. Very gentle quality.

BEST toothpaste in the WORLD! I can say that from a professional standpoint since I have been a dental hygienist since 1984 and have used these products since the early 1990’s. The inventor of this product was the doctor who wrote my “Periodontal” college textbook. I have used this in clinical practice over decades and have seen miraculous improvements in my patient’s periodontal condition. It’s because of the compound, chlorine dioxide, in the product, but I’m not going to go into a detailed explanation…just believe me on this and try this product.Don’t buy into the hype that dentists promote with all the other big name brands and most of all…Listerine (that name makes my skin crawl) All those companies go into dental offices and give them samples to “push” onto their patients. They hold contests to see who can do the most promotions…it’s all about money, not about YOUR periodontal health. I actually got fired from a prestigious office in NYC because I would not conform to the “product politics” of their practice! I have been recommending CloSys products since I saw the results my patients had with it. THAT’s what helping people is about, not about selling stuff.Anyway, if you have bleeding gums, if you have a history of periodontal pockets or surgery, if you have bad breath or if you have a healthy mouth and just want to keep it that way, USE THESE CLOSYS PRODUCTS!!!!!A few other recommendations…the Oral B Braun small round oscillating electric brush is also the best one on the market. If you use that in conjunction with Closys products, your gum health WILL improve! One thing I always told my patients is floss first, then brush at least 2 minutes and when you use Closys toothpaste, do not rinse out afterwards. Just spit. The longer the product is in contact with your gum tissue, the better.If you have kids using this or if you have concern about it, buy the “non-fluoride” version of this product.I hope people find this helpful.

I replaced my strong-armed usual toothpaste with CloSYS per my dental hygienist’s recommendation. I was tired of having long strips of my lips and inner cheeks sloughing off 24/7. The corners of my mouth were getting red and I would often have a red ring around my lips. My dentist said that was caused by Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS).CloSYS does not have SLS. I use the sensitive formula to get the added fluoride and the light mint flavor. I like it, it cleans well, does not foam quite as much as other toothpastes.BUT …A freak tweak of my wrist has caused a tiny bit of CloSYS to hit my open eye. Burning, searing pain.Also, apparently I am a mess with the toothbrushing, because I always get some paste on my clothes. Something in CloSYS removes the color from whatever it splashes on, even when the item is immediately rinsed or washed. Lost a lot of favorite tops and towels (used as bibs) this way.And some folks are highly sensitive to various artificial sweeteners. So it’s good to know that CloSYS contains sucralose. Sure you rinse well and don’t swallow teaspoons of the stuff, but it can happen. Plus there is always some residue left behind which, well, will come out behind.But overall, my favorite toothpaste, primarily because the absence of SLS means the tissues of my mouth stay intact and I don’t get an irritated red ring around my lips. (Which I now find odd given that it strips the color right out of my clothes.)

Tongue Rash is a thing of the Past
Ya’ll dentists have been telling me I ~just have geographic tongue~ for 31 years and I’ve been diagnosed with Thrush twice. No one told me I might just be having an allergic reaction to my toothpaste.After a month of using, my tongue is sore free and pain free for them first time in as long as I can remember. Expensive, but worth it. Would love if it didn’t have sucralose but, I’m not swallowing it so I’m not as worried.

My wife has corrosive Oral Lichen Planus. This is the only toothpaste that does not hurt her while bruising teeth. It is very expensive at $30/tube … but in her condition, you can’t put a price on her comfort.

I have used closys mouthwash for a couple years and it’s great! This is the first time I will try the toothpaste, hope it is as good as I have been told! We will see!
