Not worth it. Doesn’t smell remotely like hinoki.
Hinoki water.. Smells like citrus/orange not like real hinoki.

Refreshing and Hydrating Body Mist
This body mist is just enough to apply to your pulse points. It has a lovely yuzu-citrus scent with a woody hint, possibly sandalwood. It doesnât turn sharp if you sweat, which is excellent. The scent is not abrasive or overbearing. I love that it hydrates my skin with vitamins and hyaluronic acid, and is free of silicone and parabens. The intimate, closer-to-skin feel of the perfume balm is a nice touch.

Very perfumey soap, but smells nice
It is interesting to me that most folks seem to pick up on the Yuzu part of the scent, and I actually got this soap because I am a huge fan of Yuzu– but I don’t smell that at all! What comes through for me is the Patchouli — but I am also a huge fan of Patchouli! When I first tried it, the scent was so strong that it was overwhelming, and I just reacted to it as heavy, perfumey — too perfumey. I couldn’t imagine bathing my entire body in it, because I just thought I would be overwhelmed! Also interesting, am noting that many folks that got the body mist are saying the scent doesn’t last too long — but the soap, ironically, leaves a heavy scent that lasts forever! So I thought I would just keep it as a hand soap, so I wouldn’t be overwhelmed and stuck with the heavy scent. But over the course of a few days, the Patchouly notes, which I love and gives me warm fuzzies (child of the 60’s), became more apparent to me, and the scent really started to grow on me! I’m still afraid to bathe my whole body in it, because I still think it will be too much, but whenever I want a little “fix” of that scent, all I have to do is wash my hands! It comes in a very nice bottle, one that would definitely be appropriate for gifting, but I still think it’s a bit pricey for — a bottle of soap. It isn’t moisturizing, but neither is it overly drying. It just smells nice.

Itâs ok
Itâs a decent scent, but if youâre expecting Hinoki, you will be disappointed. I generally love most things by the AnillO Brad, but not this one. Scent fail.

Complex, lovely scent
This soap is listed as a body wash or hand soap, I use it as a body wash. This is a complex scent, it definitely feels like a perfume composition (in a good way!). The scent is described as âAmber, Basil, Cedar, Citrus, Cypress, Patchouliâ; I myself am not a fan of patchouli, however I donât pick up on that as a key fragrance, and hardly notice it in fact. I primary pick up on the cedar, Cyprus and citrus, the other notes seem to blend into the background. Overall, this is a citrusy-woodsy scent with a soft background to even it out. This is most definitely a unisex scent; this smells clean and refreshing to me, like a high end spa. The soap lathers well and doesnât feel drying on my skin. The scent lingers for sometime after showering, and I try to pick a perfume that compliments the scent so they work together. I use this regularly and have hardly made a dent in the product, just a little goes a long way. Iâm really impressed with this body wash!

Fragrance not for me
It sounded good, but I don’t care much for this type of fragrance – warm, perfumy, leans masculine. I find it a little too strong and lingering too, so I won’t be using it as a body wash. It has a twist lock pump. It was in a sealed box. It’s currently $23.80 plus 30% off (Black Friday).

Beautiful soap
This is a beautiful soap both in aroma and in looks. I was however extremely disappointed in the packaging of this product for shipment. I have included a photo of the product the box and the bag that it was shipped in. It had no extra padding and as you can see the box was completely destroyed and quite a bit of the product was squeezed out of the bottle and was just oozing around inside the box and the package itself. The product is lovely so if they can just package it a bit more securely It would be a perfect product!

Light but upscale fragrance
This soap is really mild and medium foaming. I particularly liked that it didnât irritate my eczema prone skin. The fragrance is light but has an upscale complexity to it. The bottle could have been a bit more high end but itâs fine.
