I am a repeat customer that will continue buying again and AGAIN. I have 2B/3A wavy hair that’s fine but dense and very long. I have struggled with light dandruff, very itchy scalp, and diffuse hair loss, which came on suddenly, out of nowhere, and I struggled with it for about 2 years. During those 2 years, I tried so many shampoos and conditioners– from top of the line expensive (think Olaplex) to bottom shelf cheap (think Suave). I finally decided to ditch “science & technology” and go “natural & basic”, which lead me to Nature Sustained shampoo & conditioner. I have been using the shampoo (not the conditioner) for almost 1 year now. I no longer have dandruff, itchy scalp, or diffuse hair loss. Because of this result, I am convinced that keeping it natural & simple is the way to go for a happy and healthy scalp. The product itself has a great lather, especially for a natural formulation. I find the trick to getting a great lather is shampooing twice. The first time seems to absorb the excess oils causing minimal lather while the second time seems to lift and lather greatly. I use about a nickel sized amount for each lather, and the product lasts me about 3-4 months with hair washing only 1-2 times a week. The product has a very soft raisin-like scent that is easily over powered by your follow-up conditioner or styling products. I find the light scent pleasantly natural, and it has never bothered me. I follow-up with Suave QuenchLock conditioner because my hair gets unimaginably tangled (think rat’s nest), and I ONLY apply it on the dead ends of my hair and NEVER on my scalp. This is what has worked for me. Nature Sustained conditioner is great too, if you do not have the issue of unmanageable tangles. It does work on tangles, but takes a lot more time to unravel a wad of tangles like mine. If my story resonates with you because you’ve dealt with similar persisting issues, I kindly advise to take a “natural & basic” approach on your whole body to get positive results (think anything disrupting your hormones and causing a microbiome imbalance like medications, heavy metals, and chemicals). Hope this helps someone struggling out there!

The best shampoo for flat, straight, fine, thin and porous hair
Fresh clean, no residue, does dry out my ends which are damaged. If you have thin and fine hair like me you can use this every day worry free. Expensive though but worth the price. My hair looks and feels amazing after I use this. My hair is pin straight and flat against my scalp but using this has given my hair life: volume. My scalp does get oily but not immediately like when I other natural shampoos. I donât even use conditioner anymore. Just air dry and comb.

Leaves hair super clean, with lots of body!
I have always had reactions to hair products and shampoos as my scalp is so sensitive. This soothes my scalp, and heals any bumps and rough spots that the commercial products leave. Also, my hair comes out silky, thick and lots of body. Also it doesn’t turn my silver hair yellow! It leaves it without any coating or color! Don’t worry if it doesn’t foam a lot – it is still working great!

Excellent shampoo
I am concerned as to why all the mentions of how this shampoo is good for the scalp, etc. etc. is not mentioned in the packaging of the actual product. I really love the shampoo as it helped make my hair squeak, which I hadn’t heard in a long time. Was I sent the incorrect product from the company, as the benefits were not mentioned as I read on Amazon’s ads which resulted in my buying the product. I have a dry, itchy, tender scalp..none of which was mentioned on the product. Anyway, I am not returning it, because it is a vast improvement of other brands I have purchased which were supposed to be organic.

I was searching for a natural product shampoo and came across this one. I didn’t want to review until I used the first bottle… and yes, I ordered again. It’s a pricy product, and it has an inital odor of vinegar, yet it foams up well, my hair feels clean with no residue build up that I find with many shampoos, including “natural based”. I wash my shoulder length hair on average three times weekly. It feels soft, clean, and healthy. I’m sticking with this shampoo for now and recommend you try it. This little bottle lasted around four to five months for me!

looking for a better shampoo to condition scalp. this one looked really good and was pricey but I went for the all natural clean nature of it. when it arrived was shocked at the size of bottle-I failed to notice it’s 9 oz.have used one time- scent is a little worse than acv but is not strong. my hair was clean and soft and I do like the shampoo. The price is way more than I have ever spent on shampoo, but it is very nice and didn’t have to use much- a little goes a long way. Especially bummed the price fell 30% after I used it. All that said I like it but not sure I would ever pay this price again. At least now I know it can be had for less.

I wanted to like this so badly
I am a sucker for natural ingredients in body care items and I have been having a dry flaky scalp issue for awhile. I had been using Montana emu farms shampoo and conditioner (itâs decadent and I HIGHLY recommend) but alas my skin is finicky and decided to become allergic to it. So my hunt for another clean shampoo began. I was so hopeful with this brand due to the limited and all natural ingredients. Well this stuff has burned my scalp. Intense itching and flaking all day. It lathered great, and I wanted to like it so bad that I tried it several times hoping that I needed to get used to it. Halfway through the bottle and it seems to be getting worse with each application. In the trash it goes and my hunt continues. Definitely does not work for my sensitive skin.
