Aphogee Keratin and Green Tea Restructurizer, 8 Fl Oz

Works for my purposes
I wasn’t really sure what this product was for, I just use it to detangle my hair after I shower. I wanted a product with minimal ingredients and preferably no silicones that had any kind of hydrolized proteins in it. I think it still has silicone but compared to a bunch of other products like sprays and conditioners it is okay.Someone mentioned in a review it smells kind of “musky” and it does– but it goes away after a while. Other than that its scent isn’t strong or offensive.Edit: It does add a little softness and shine to my hair. It’s not a huge change but I am satisfied with the results. My only problem with it is the sprayer starts leaking on my hands. I like that it sprays a fine mist but after a couple of sprays the sprayer just seems to leak instead of spray and it gets slippery and hard to press. Still a decent and affordable product that you should try if you want to add hydrolyzed proteins to your hair.

Helps Rebuild Hair After Chemical Services
This product honestly does help rebuild hair when used with the other Aphogee products such as the 2-Step Treatment. My hair was pretty damaged after I had professional grey blending and dye removal and this is one of the things I have been using to get protein back into it. The breakage has stopped and my hair is behaving and looking more like normal hair again. This isn’t a leave in conditioner or a de-frizzing serum though and I think that’s what’s tripping some folks up about this. You still have to use those products separately. Overall I would give it 4 stars because I don’t think it’s that useful as an extra step if your hair is not processed. I also don’t think the company does a good enough job of explaining what it is.

I still can’t believe it but it actually works
I just used this product last night after I washed my hair. I didn’t have big expectations since I’ve tried so MANY products in the past weeks and nothing. I had a chemical reaction while I was bleaching my hair at the salon and my hair literally started to FALL OUT by pieces. Chunks and chunks of hair fell off and what remained was so damaged that it felt like fried hair. I walked out of the hair salon heartbroken and with a bunch of free products they gave me to try to stop the shedding. None of them made a difference not even Olaplex #3.However this product did! I don’t know how and I’m not going to say that it miraculously fixed it but pretty close to it! My hair feels and looks much better. I’m stoked. I was about to chop all of my hair off and get a wig. That’s how bad it was. And now I’m considering not doing anything and just keep applying the product. Amazing results! Sorry for long review but yes I definitely recommend this product. It works and I wish I had gotten it sooner.

Essential
I have fine hair that is prone to breaking. This is one of the few products that actually makes a difference. My hair feels stronger and because of that, I’m able to grow it out a little longer than without using this. It does not make my hair greasy at all.

Keeps our 4c tight curly afro textured hair strong but I mix it with our olive oil serum. Otherwise it is too strong and makes our hair feel hard and tangly-hard.Because of this, one bottle lasts me forever because a little drop in a bottle of our serum is all I need to keep our hair strengthened and not hardened. Still stays soft and moisturised but not mushy or weak.I dont use it everyday. Perhaps once or twice a week. I have a separate serum bottle with the mixture and another bottle without the mixture that I use more often.I use this as heat protectant because of the strength it gives to the hair. Our hair has had no issues and retains length.
