For the past half decade, I’ve struggled with a dry eye condition that leads to puffy eyelids, occasional styes, and other frustrating issues. It doesn’t help that I spend many hours a day on the computer for work, am a woman of a certain age, and don’t always get quality sleep. To try to help counteract the challenges of dry eyes, my doctor recommends using tea tree oil cleanser. He’s specifically given a thumbs up to Optase.I use it twice a day – morning and night to clean the lash line of my eyelids. I have two bottles – one for the shower, and one in the medicine cabinet. It feels smooth and silky when applied. My regimen includes applying with either fingertips, or else a clean cloth. Let the liquid sit for at least 60 seconds, then start to gently rinse it off. It’s one of the self-care regimens that’s easy to incorporate into my day and helps to minimize episodes where other factors affect my eyelids.The contents of the bottle last a long time, which makes for a solid value.

This Optase gel really cleans the eyelids very well! (My doctor is happy!)
I was told by my optometrist that I needed to use this product every day due to issues with my eyelids. I have very chronically dry and irritated eyes. My eyelash area gets full of debris which doesn’t help. I purchased this product and I use it every day to scrub my eyelid areas. My doctor says my eyes look so much better and I can attest that they feel a bit better. It does not sting at all, but it does smell like tea tree oil, which isn’t my favorite. I am highly satisfied with this product!

Great for Blepharitis and Dry Eyes
I use this once a day and it has worked wonders for my dry irritated eyes. Lasts 2 months as advertised. Much less wasteful and expensive than the wipes, although the wipes remove the crustiness a little easier. Nice thick gel that spreads well with a tiny little water. I am now using less eye drops, some days not at all. There is no cure for blepharitis and if I stop using the problem quickly returns. Could be mites as well, i do not know. Using warm water and soap such as baby shampoo (recommended by my eye doctor) works too but this is better. Pick or rub with TP, the eye lid crustiness off after using, makes a big difference for me. Keep out of eyes, stings. Recommended! Not made in China, since I am putting it on my eyes, i will pay more for that.
