Just My Opinion –
Works well
I like the fact that this has more cold tar than some of the psoriasis shampoos. It seems to help better than others I have tried so far.

BE AWARE OF FORMULA CHANGE
Iâm extremely disappointed (actually Iâm REALLY effing pissed) that they changed the formula after so many years. My husband has found that this is the only product that eliminates his psoriasis on his scalp. He also has rosacea and this was the only product for the purpose of helping psoriasis that did NOT irritate his rosacea. In fact, if he used this shampoo on his face and in his beard, it would even help his rosacea. This company has now changed the formula to include eucalyptus and mint essential oils. Eucalyptus is a huge irritant to rosacea. The texture is completely different, itâs chunky now, the color is completely different, obviously the smell is completely different (like a sweet minty puke). So now anyone with rosacea and allergies to essential oils is completely screwed with no warning. My husband used this new formula and his face is breaking out in his rash and his scalp itches like crazy.Thank you for âfixingâ something that wasnât broken.Did they consult the doctors they claim recommend this? Or did they just want it to smell prettier?UPDATE:Now, my husband has be using this for 2 weeks while we try to find a replacement. And his psoriasis is BACK! Iâve added photos of his face where it can be seen. We have not shaved his head to prove my point, but Iâll let you know if he changed his mind on that. He is in absolute itchy agony on his head and chin.COME ON?! WTF?!PS. ZERO communication with the company as of yet. So they clearly donât care.

I Could Barely Breathe When Using It
I have never smelled a shampoo so horrible. The moment I began to use it, it cut my breath off. I rinsed it out as fast as I could and used another shampoo to wash it out, but the smell was so potent, it still didn’t take the smell out of my hair. I stepped out of the shower, opened the bathroom door, and left my shower curtain open to breathe easier while I was still in the shower, but it was useless. I tried washing it out again and after two washings with another shampoo, I could still smell it in my hair. Even after blow drying my hair and using a hairspray, my son could smell it just by walking past me. The smell of this shampoo is still in the air in my bathroom and bedroom and it is a horrible smell!

Love shampoo but hate the tube packaging
I love this shampoo but I hate shampoo in a tube. I would have given this a 5 star rating if the packaging was a bottle. The shampoo works very well and I have no complaints about it at all.

Okay, but stinky
I ordered it when Denorex mentar became impossible to find.First though is, it’s very stinky (in a chemical, industrial way). I can smell it on my hair the next day. Denorex managed to get the smell under control, why not this product too?I also am not sure if it works as well as Denorex. All in all, i’ll probably not reorder.

Disgusting⦠but effective!
Just used this product for the first time today. The smell is absolutely horrid and definitely not great for people affected by strong smells or asthma â I am both of these and struggled to get through my shower and needed to use my inhaler afterwards. HOWEVER. THIS NASTY STUFF WORKS! I powered through my shower and was actually so impressed when I dried off and checked my scalp. The Psoriasis flakes and redness were totally subdued and any flakes that remained were just sloughing off in my hair â the most troublesome spots were completely clear and the major redness I had was a dull red, almost pink. Iâm so relieved. After reading about usage online it does say itâs better used specifically targeting the scalp and trying to minimize how much gets in your actual hair which is definitely easier said than done if you have longer hair. I used Native conditioner afterwards which smells great and unfortunately that didnât help the smell at all. So while Iâm definitely walking around with an invisible gas cloud, itâs a step in the right direction. If youâve read this far⦠donât give up, you will find a product that works for you, even if it smells like gasoline.

Formula is not as good.
I have been using this for years. This time, the formula has obviously changed. The color is a beige where it used to be green. The scent is not the same. When I put it on my wet hair, it did not suds up like it used to. I had to use twice as much to get any suds. It did not clean as well as it used to. I am very disappointed in it. This has worked for me for years. Now it doesn’t. I don’t know what I can use on my psoriasis scalp for shampoo now that you have messed this up. I bought 2, wasted my money.
