I love this so much I chucked my previously favorite foundation (IL MAKIAGE) in the trash!I am 39 yrs old, and FINALLY have mostly clear skin after 30+ years of battling acne. Iâve worked on cleaning up my nutrition for the last 15 years. Finally have the illustrious clear skin. But I am getting older, and my skin still sometimes needs a little boost in coverage, depending on what my monthly cycle throws my way.I tried 2 different tinted moisturizers, and this one, BY FAR, outweighed the other. I tried DRMTLGYâS Universal tinted moisturizer and this one. I didnât like how it didnât really mesh with my skin, and the coverage was NOT as great as this one. This tinted moisturizer now acts as my full-time âfoundationâ when I want some coverage. If I really wanna doll up, Iâll use a little concealer, bronzer, mascara and liner, and be on my merry little way.Iâll be stuck on this probably forever. At least until my next phase of life when idgaf anymore about makeup. ð

A very clean moisturizer and make up all in one.
This is very clean. It was like not wearing makeup at all. I love the natural feeling and a little goes a long way.ThanksMs. Phyllis

Great product; but…
This tinted moisturizer seems like it would be amazing if I had purchased to correct shade 🙁 It’s really difficult to get the undertones right. There are SO many different color choices, which is great!! The one I bought gives me a more pale sick look. It’s not too light, as far as shade goes, but it drained all of the richness from my skin making me look dull in the face. Totally take responsibility for not knowing my correct color match before purchasing. I docked one star because it’s actually more full coverage than other tinted moisturizers I’ve used in the past. Just a dab too much and it gave foundation vibes. All preference though!

Great stuff!
I love this stuff. I have very oily skin and it blends perfectly. Not sticky, long wearing! Not a full coverage – which I love!

Arrived Expired
Don’t waste your money or time. I read the reviews and thought I’d try the product despite the reviews that said it came expired. Well, my came and it was also expired in the same month I bought it.

Stick to the original
I wanted to try this matte version of the tinted cream but I hate it. It goes on very strange and it doesn’t feel good as I rub it into my face. The non-matte cream feels smoothing, I’m sure the matte properties is what makes this feel so weird, but if I don’t want to look glossy I still put on the bare minerals loose powder foundation and mineral veil, so a matte cream doesn’t seem necessary.

This is great on my combination skin
I decided to try this before I run out of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I haven’t loved that, but it was expensive and I developed some methods of making it work OK for me until it runs out but I definitely needed to find something else. I have combination skin. It’s very difficult to find a foundation that works on my entire face. I use good quality loose minerals so I don’t want or need a heavy foundation. Tinted moisturizer is perfect in concept, but it has been challenging to find the right one… until now. This Bare Minerals Natural Matte is perfect! What I love:It offers good coverage that isn’t too little or too much (better than LM)It minimizes my pores (LM did not!)It moisturizes the dry areas but doesn’t make the oily areas more oily (LM was not good on the oily parts)It doesn’t pool up on the oily areas of my face and cause them to look shiny (LM pools and causes shine)It lasts all day with very little maintenance needed on an average day at the office. (LM req’d maintenance)What I don’t love:It’s a little pricey but no worse than what I was already buying. It’s a good product so worth it to me.I apply this with a very small makeup brush. Don’t focus too much on what the manufacturer calls the brush. Look for a brush about 1/4 inch wide or so. Sponges absorb very expensive makeup and so do fingers. I like the brush because it isn’t absorbent. Using a small brush gives me lots of control, helps me blend evenly, and doesn’t waste any product. I give it a few minutes to set on my face, then I apply loose minerals lightly over my entire face and I’m set for the day.Overall, I highly recommend this, particularly if you have combo skin like me and don’t like heavy pore-clogging foundation.
