Update: I’ve been using this product for almost 6 weeks and I am so blessed to be able to have this product! The crusts on my scalp and flakes have continued to reduce and are barely there at all! This has given me a way to treat my dandruff daily with a moisturizing curl-safe product while also cutting down on shampoo. So pleased! Also the method of storing upside down and removing the cap to dispense has been so easy and works just fine.Original review: I have a severe form of dandruff called seborrheic dermatitis. Due to having very dry, curly hair I quit shampooing my hair regularly and use this conditioner instead. It’s helping my seborrheic dermatitis a lot, it took a while but after two and a half weeks my flakes are hugely reduced and the crust on my scalp is almost totally gone. The bottle is slightly squeezable however the product is so thick it’s hard to squeeze out as others have said. I store it upside down which is easy to do due to the shape of the bottle, and when I use it I simply unscrew the cap and squeeze some into my hand. It’s very easy to do this way and I don’t have to cut the bottle open or anything, which I was afraid I’d have to do. It’s hard to find dandruff conditioners, especially ones that comply with Curly Girl Method like this one does, so I’m very grateful for it and have always thought derma e makes great products. Just glad it’s way easier to use than I anticipated from the reviews.

Amazing product, if you can get the product out of bottle.
Love the product, but beware the bottles. This is the only shampoo and conditioner that is actually hypoallergenic on my skin, which is such a relief. The bottles that they come in are sometimes squeezable enough to get the product out and sometimes they are as hard as glass. Please, please fix your bottles. I am ordering two pumps to replace the caps so I can get the product out.

Nice conditioner, unsqueezable bottle
The conditioner left my hair soft and shiny after using it with a harsh prescription ketoconazole shampoo.However, the bottle is so stiff I had to get a friend with strong hands to transfer it to a squeeze bottle for me. He’s a woodworker so his hands, wrists and forearms are strong but even he had trouble. And, because the conditioner is a thick cream (you don’t need much of it) it doesn’t run down the bottle, he had to keep banging the bottle on the table to get the cream down to the opening as he transferred it. Once this is gone I think I’ll look for something in better packaging.

Best Itchy Scalp Solution
This is more of a clarifying shampoo, not moisturizing. It removes the scalp gunk and grime (and also hair products) very well. It leaves my scalp happy, not overly dry and itchy like some scalp clarifying shampoos.When you apply this product to your scalp, you can feel it cleaning and soothing at the same time. It’s an amazing product. Was so tired of my head itching all night long. Stopped it immediately.The only things I would change is the bottle size and the lid. Bottle size is too small. Hardly any product comes out of the pop-up lid because the hole is too small and the product has a very thick consistency, so have to unscrew it and screw it back on with wet, slippery hands. Needs a flip top with a bigger hole.You will likely need to follow with conditioning shampoo, conditioner, or both. I have my favorites that I use afterwards.This product is far superior to other salicylic shampoos because they get rid of scalp grime but make my head itch terribly, especially at night.

After suffering from itchy scalp and dandruff for over 10 years, I’ve used many various forms of shampoos and conditioners. None really helped and only dried out my scalp, stripped them of any natural oils/nutrients.Usually use T Gel 2-in-1 but that alone was half the battle. After reading many reviews I decided to purchase this conditioner. Delivered and used today, it certainly made a difference when used in conjunction with T Gel.A small amount goes a long way and you can feel the tea tree and menthol work within 10 seconds, the intense tingling sensation was powerful but a delight on the scalp. (Wait the recommended time 3-5 minutes after massage).After a rinse and pat dry, my head feels refreshed and not too tight, no irritation or itching. Passing my hand through revealed almost little to no flakes at all.Hopefully my scalp will be 10/10 (for once!) within the 7 days as advertised. Also good to note I used a silicon scalp massager in the shower, just to loosen any flakes/stubborn patches.

Whilst it was not as offensive odour or damaging to my hair, it made absolutely no difference to my scalp!!!
