Iâve been using this castor oil for a year. Iâm just finishing up my second bottle, so a little bit truly goes a long way. I had noticed last summer that my hair seemed to be thinning. After perms in my 20s and 30s, and coloring in my 40s and 50s I wasnât surprised. Iâm pretty much totally white now so the scalp shows through a little bit better. I did some research and decided to give this a try.I didnât see any difference after finishing the first bottle but I went ahead and got the second one. Last month I still wasnât sure, but I ordered a third one which is waiting in the wings. However, I just had my hair cut today. My stylist asked if I had gone longer between appointments this time, and I said I didnât think so, but I had also noticed that my hair was feeling really shaggy. I usually get my hair cut every five weeks because itâs short, and I thought perhaps Iâd gone six weeks for some reason. But after she was finished I checked and my last appointment had been five weeks ago. I mentioned to her that I was using the castor oil and she said thatâs why; it is working and itâs making your hair grow faster.So it definitely does what it says it does. It just takes some time. I use it 2 to 3 times a week and will continue to do so. Itâs going to actually cost me some money in the long run because now I have to get my hair cut every four weeks, but well worth it!
