Got a Trending Story on my phone about varied lead amounts in beauty products the same day my new lipstick came from Amazon/Burts Bees. Phone number on package, so I called. Nice woman gave me a very detailed answer. Not a new problem. Minimal amount in the lipstick/gloss. It’s great product. Super color, long lasting, company customer responsive. I like that.

Pretty Color But Odd Texture
The lipstick itself has a strange texture to it with little hard pieces, almost like an exfoliating lipstick. The color is beautiful but not vibrant, which I actually prefer. It doesn’t last long though and feels really thick on the lips. I probably wouldn’t purchase this again. I think it needs a reformulation to improve the quality and feel.

LOVE this lip color! (Nude Rain). Not too much, just a hint of color which I love. I didn’t want just clear shine but just a touch of color and this does the trick…it’s between a VERY subtle pink/blush and tan color). VERY smooth and moisturizing (not sticky or drying at all) which is always hard for me to find, so this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. So much $$$ spent on lipsticks that I hated, this one is THE ONE! Arrived quickly and in great condition. I am not one to order cosmetics online, I prefer going into a store but I couldn’t find this color anywhere so thought I would try it, take a chance. This exceeded my expectations, most definitely! Will be ordering more :-). Thank you!

Disastrous Mommy Dezarn’s CS
The seller stated that they examined a lipstick before shipping it, that I scratched it myself. First, how could they examine the lipstick if the lipstick’s container was sealed by a manufacturer? Second, how dared they to accuse a customer in intentional damaging of the product? I emailed them the photos to see if they would apply a discount due to a poor quality (I was ok with a color, but didn’t try the lipstick on yet), but instead they decided to accuse me in damaging the lipstick. Now, I am returning it with the Amazon’s customer service approval. Btw, I see a lot of photos with similar defects of this lipstick on this and other sellers posts.

I really like this lip product. IWe live in a world filled with chemicals, I try to stay with chemical free, natural things when possible. This is so moisturizing and I love the colors it comes in. I highly recommend if you are looking to moisturize and enhance yor lips.

No me pinto mucho por que tengo hijos pequeños y prefiero dormir un poco más que salir bien producida de mi casa por las mañanas. Sin embargo este labial me da la posibilidad de darle un toque discreto de color a mis labios y a la vez brinda humectación con la ayuda de las abejas . El producto me gustó.
