It does what it says it will do
I have had red blotchy areas on my face due to a thyroid problem for several years. I donât like wearing a lot of makeup. Iâve always felt self conscious of the redness . It is embarrassing. I found this product and I have to say that I love it! I used it and it helped the color of my face to look normal. I was hoping it helped me and it did. What I didnât know was the next day my face felt so soft. It feels smooth and fresh. That was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has redness or a blotchy complexion.

This stuff is magical! As a base primer, my makeup looks even and stays in place, my eyeliner is stunningly easy to put on and my color is even. I freaking love this stuff. It’s light weight and doesn’t feel cakey.

Not tone corrector itself; more as overall tone and blending ease for foundation
Leaves skin feeling so super soft. Does not tone correct immediately or in the sense that the product does the actual correction. It corrects tone so that it enhances foundation/base/concealerâs smooth application and even distribution. Not what I thought it would do (similar to cicapar tiger balm whatever) but still happy with product and will continue to use

Love this product!!
I nearly bought the Il Makiage version but it was so expensive and Elf never disappoints so I decided to give it a try. It is so smooth and creamy but doesnât leave an oily feel. Itâs an amazing primer and works better at keeping my makeup set than any other product Iâve ever tried including expensive ones!! (Iâm currently wearing IT Cosmetics, Laura Geller and Tarte)

It doesn’t work, and NOT for sensitive skin
I suspect this might be the product that broke me out in hives (the other suspect being Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Face Cream, so if you’re reading this with sensitive skin, beware of that too – I started both products at the same time). I did notice at one point in the beginning days of using it, I watched this bump on my skin form before my very eyes. I was also noticing my already rosacea-type skin look even redder than normal. My skin also felt irritated. After a week, and after a day where I’d been sweating a bunch (with a face full of makeup) I woke up with some hives on the front of my neck (so me it looked almost funnily like a drip pattern). I then googled “Elf Primer Allergic” and came across this video of another girl who had the same hive situation where I did (on the neck), and yet she had an even more severe allergic reaction than me, like, her whole face and eyes puffed up. D: I then read the comments of the video, and there lots of others who had reactions to ELF Primer line in general. Some were still dealing with clearing up their hives weeks later, some even experienced symptoms as severe as facial peeling. Also, a few of them had been using the primer for a couple of weeks before they began seeing major symptoms, so extra annoying/scary that this can just hit you after a buildup of time. No one has time for unsightly and uncomfortable hives. I’m very lucky this didn’t happen before a major event where’d I’d be photographed or whatever.And on a basic level, it did absolutely nothing for my redness, it was as if I didn’t put anything on at all. It was very slippery, but honestly, my daily facial sunscreen (Supergoop) does the same job, and I suspect any facial sunscreen would be better or the same. A failure on all fronts.So, overall, I came away with a very negative experience. A definite waste of money for me, I’m not particularly wealthy, the whole reason I was buying ELF anyway, but maybe I’ll just save up for some better stuff next time (Smashbox primer is awesome but so expensive for my beauty budget 🙁 ).

Das ist mein allererster Primer, es kaschiert meine leichte Couperose. Die Konsistenz ist samtig weich, verschmilzt augenblicklich mit der Haut mit einem soften Finish. Kaschiert auch vergröÃerte Poren, harmoniert mit Kompaktpuder, Mineralpuder… alles! Preis ist mehr als in Ordnung, und der USA-Anbieter liefert sensationell schnell in kaum einer Woche… Was will man mehr!

Arrivato perfettamente nei tempi. A primo impatto è molto verde, ma la mia ragazza dice che è leggero, ne basta poco e lascia la pelle vellutata oltre ad aver visto un effettivo uniformarsi del tono della pelle. Non è il massimo per quel che riguarda l’odore, sa un po’ di chimico, ma per il resto è soddisfatta. Per il prezzo pagato, potrebbe ordinarlo nuovamente.Edit: per chi necessita di correggere i rossori, provare il Blemish Control, altro Primer Elf apposito per il caso, questo è solo per uniformare il tono della pelle.

Primer maravilhoso, realmente reduz a vermelhidão e a cobertura fica super natural. Não parece nada com uma base, é um primer, mas pra minha pele ficou perfeito.
