Helped My Dog a Lot
I have a dog with some (suspected) acid indigestion issues. She vomits bile when she gets too hungry, and it all goes downhill from there. I find that this product helps quite a bit and best of all, she likes the flavor! She gets excited when I get the canister out. I tasted it, to me it tastes like mixing some partially decayed leaves and grass clippings with water and it is disgusting. Not sure even tuna juice would mask the flavor for a cat. But it’s worth a try! It seems to help keep her stomach calmer and when she does have an episode, her episodes are not nearly as severe since I put her on this. I give it every day or every other, it has truly made a difference. It’s a little gritty but if you keep stirring it improves. My dog might be weird with how much she likes it but I’m okay with that because it makes it easy to give!

Our dog has occasional mushy poops , so the vet recommended a probiotic.She didnât tell me our dog could get terrible diarrhea from it !At first I thought he picked something up off the street, I ordered this and he wasnât too impressed w the flavor ( it does have a strong smell)I put it over pumpkin on a lick mat to ensure he was ingesting it all and that helped.After his bowels returned to normal I started him back on his regular food and probiotic and again horrible diarrhea!Doing research I learned that potent formulas of probiotic can cause this.I started a diff brand of probiotic that is a powder and I increase incredibly slow, our dog still has some tummy issues – so I add this product into his food every time he gets a dose and every time I increase and it really helps so much ! I am so happy I learned how to utilize this product.If youâre transitioning your pup with another food or supplement definitely use this during that process .Itâs a little pricey considering we have a large dog so I only gave 4 stars

Best Solution for Explosive Diarrhea in Sick Puppies
My puppies were sick with Coccidia and Parvo – a double whammy. The nature of these infections/viruses yielded an unimaginable level of explosive diarrhea and squirting. It was horrific.Instead of loading them up with yet another drug at the time (given they were put on quite a few), I decided against the Metronidazole/Flagyl recommended by my vet (they also recommend anti-diarrheal, Loperamide) and ordered this instead after reading a review on Chewy. Best decision ever.I mixed it in their wet food and it resolved diarrhea within the same day. Their stool looks so much better, well-formed and not watery. Don’t give too much (especially for puppies) to ensure you don’t cause constipation. I gave too much to my puppy and added organic pumpkin powder to her water to help her go potty.I will definitely keep this around the house as long as I have dogs. It’s a must for pups with digestive issues of any kind! So glad I stumbled across this!UPDATE: Now my pups have a clean bill of health. My little one has “perfect” poop these days. Her sister has a bit of mushy poop, after recovering from a bout of Hookworms (clearly the breeder didn’t do a good job of deworming these babies). However, they both love to have this sprinkled on their dry food these days as well. So the taste is yummy for them too. An added benefit if your pups have suffered any kind of gut issues.

Life saver
This stuff has been a lifesaver. I adopted a 6 month old puppy recently who has been having diarrhea off and on since I got him in Oct. More on than off. The vet kept putting him on antibiotics which would help temporarily and when he was off them, the diarrhea would come back. The next thing we tried was the Science Diet ID prescription dog food, the canned and the dry. Which didn’t help, his diarrhea kept coming back. My vet wanted me to keep him on the food and suggested I try a $60 something dollar probiotic as well. Not happy with the vet’s recommendation of keeping him on an expensive prescription diet that wasn’t helping and adding another expensive thing to his diet, I sought advice elsewhere. Up until this point, chicken had been a main ingredient in all the food he had been getting. So I began slowly transitioning him onto a lamb based sensitive stomach blend food and adding the Honest Kitchen herbal digestive supplement into his food twice a day and it has worked wonders! He is in the 40 to 50 lb range and I mix 1 tsp into twice a day, with water and mix it all up and I so relieved. He hasn’t had diarrhea since I got him on this product. He is now fully on the new dog food and doing great. I plan to try and slowly transition him off this product eventually to see how he does. But I will always be keeping this on hand!

My cat has IBD and crystals and has to have a special diet and hydrolyzed SO food so to keep his bowels healthy we add this to his meals 2 times a day and he’s in perfect health. Highly recommend.
