Great hair product!
I’ve been using this for YEARS! For my hair, it seems to nourish and detangle it, without being heavy or dragging my hair down. It’s silky without being at all oily. You can use it on dry or towel-dried hair (I always use it on damp hair) and it absorbs right in. A little bit goes a long way, so I feel you really get your money’s worth.

Started using this product when my hairdresser recommended it – more expensive than what I typically spend on such a product. Yet – I am just now buying second bottle from 2+ cuts ago (still have a bit left too!!). I love how this product returns the shine and softness to my hair that coloring had removed from it. Same goes for when I use “dry” shampoo – this product returns the shine and softness. In short – this product makes my hair appear/feel soft and healthy – and not greasy (which similar products have – after 8 hours or so).Living rural – I saw this offered on Amazon – for $5 less than what I paid in shop (plus gas saved on driving to shop) – so I ordered it. Wary after reading a reviewer who found her purchase to be inferior (odd moisture in bottle) – I compared the bottle that arrived with the bottle that still has contents in it. The two bottles look the same, the contents smell/appear the same, and no moisture in the new bottle. The seller had, in fact put tape over the tip of the bottle (appreciated, as oils may seep when shipped) – so my bottle arrived in a bubble wrap bag (which yes will be recycled), dry as can be (wish I could say the same for similar purchases from different vendors!!!).

I Never Want to be Without My Surface
Was introduced to this product back in 2008 by my then-hairdresser. Though the hairdresser and I parted ways, to this day I still use some of the products she had me use. I color my hair and have done so for years, as well as alternating visits between color and perming . Surface oil this has protected my hair through everything Iâve done to it! Itâs extremely, and I mean extremely, lightweight and a little goes a long way. No scent at all, which I love. Best of all, my hair looks amazing. I subject my hair to some harsh conditions like chlorine, desert-like sun, coloring, blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons ⦠you get the idea. If this sounds like you, then you not only NEED this product, you MUST get it and protect your locks. As an added bonus – for me anyway – it really helps work as a detangler during that after-shower comb-through. For perspective Iâm Caucasian with fine, very straight and thinning hair. Iâve tried going without my Surface oil for 90 days to see if I could tell the difference between it and a much cheaper commercial product. I most certainly did! Never again. Itâs Surface hydrating oil for me all the way!

Watch for leaking!
I absolutely LOVE this oil. Itâs amazing. I have thick, wavy, dry hair and this stuff is magic! It leaves my hair super soft and shiny. However, a word of caution- the packaging is not good. This oil is not sealed and Amazon put a flimsy tape over the top that I guess was supposed to prevent leaking. Well, it didnât and some of the hair oil leaked out. For the price of this oil, I would expect better packaging! Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Lightweight, Smells Amazing, Incredible Shine
I had originally gotten this product from a salon a few years ago and loved it. Once used up, though, I decided to go with my favorite drugstore option. I have tried a few others (both drugstore and high end) since then and honestly, nothing compares to this product! You need very little product. It goes a long way. It is so incredibly lightweight and easily buildable if you find you want more product. You can do without fear of your style going flat or looking greasy. The smell is amazing without being overwhelming. It is hard to describe but it smells so lovely and you will get compliments if people catch the scent. It is worth the money.

Great product but leaks all over shipping box
Love this product. Light oil that hydrates the hair without feeling greasy. However, I will re-purchase through the salon as this product is not sealed, leaked during shipping and soaked the box it came in. I could have returned it, but really needed it, so will settle for less product/same price and no reorder.Love this oil but order with caution.
