My new favorite floss
I have not had issues with this breaking, but I can see how that could happen if you tried to just snap it down between tight teeth. My teeth are fairly closely spaced because I had orthodontic work, though, and it has worked well for me. It helps to use proper flossing technique, dispensing at least 18-24 inches of floss and then working it gently down the side of each tooth, moving the floss back and forth as needed while pulling it taut against the tooth to work it into tighter spots, and using a fresh portion of floss for each swipe. I love that this floss is vegan, pfas-free, biodegradable and has no dyes or flavors. A lot of conventional floss irritates my gums for some reason, so I have been a long time user of ecodent. This works better, though, and is biodegradable. It is more expensive, but I can feel and see a difference in how much plaque this removes for me.

Useless.
We compared 4 dental floss brands: CocoFloss, Dr. Tungs, Silk Floss and Reach. We had used Reach for years and were basically happy with it, though it did tend to shred badly at times. However, after reading that almost all commercial brands of floss are made with PFAs (forever plastics), which ultimately end up in your blood stream and vital organs, we decided to switch to a brand that was PFA free, including CocoFloss, Dr. Tungs, and Silk Floss.Right out the gate, Silk Floss by SMARTLIFECO was a complete failure as many reviewers have noted. Unless you have gaps between every tooth in your mouth, Silk Floss will break at the slightest resistance. Useless.Dr. Tungâs Smart Floss is probably the best choice for most normal teeth. The container is flimsy paper, which though an environmental plus, is hard to pull from and falls apart when wet. This floss is similar to Reach but doesnât shred as easily and has a nice feel, good performance and subtle cardamom flavor.CocoFloss is my personal favorite, though my wife could not use it at all because it was too thick for her. The floss is a pleasure to use and works for both large and tight gaps. It is robust, never shreds, unspools easily, and they claim the plastic container is re-useable, but I cannot find a way to order refills.

Simple and natural
I like the simple braided floss and the recyclable box. It is thicker that most floss found at the store.

Breaks a lot
I really want to love this Floss but it breaks a lot which leads to using a lot of it. It’s definitely thicker than most of the plastic ones which makes me feel like it’s really cleaning in between my teeth well. Unfortunately the constant breaking doesn’t make it cost effective. It also doesn’t have much of a mint taste.

You can learn how to use it
Update #2: I can successfully floss with this without breaking most days. Occasionally it will break on me, usually when I am not paying enough attention to how I am using it. As opposed to pushing straight down, you kind of need to slide it as you push it down between your teeth. Also, it may help to adjust which section of the floss is actually contacting your teeth as you go around your mouth to keep it from wearing down in one particular spot.Update: after trying to continue to use the floss, I have found that it is actually possible to use it without it breaking, but it just takes some time to learn how to do it. It takes a different technique than typical floss.I appreciate all of the thought and consideration put into this floss, but the fact is that I canât floss my teeth without using 4-6 lengths of floss because it just keeps breaking.

Floss breaks easily; hardly waxed
This floss breaks easily and I found it extremely difficult to go between my teeth. The floss is supposed to be waxed, but it doesn’t feel waxed. Not usable.
